In I Can Smell You from Here, a first date becomes a test of the story you tell about yourself. The creator’s premise starts with an ordinary fear: telling one lie, then inventing increasingly elaborate details to keep it believable.

The tension comes from conversation, dark humor and the pressure to remember what you have already said. Every new question is another chance to carry the lie further.

WHAT WE FOUND IN THE OPENING.

Our desktop test reached the game’s instruction screen, continued through “Got it” and entered the dating-app opening. Pressing Enter advanced the opening dialogue.

The first practical step is giving the game keyboard focus: click inside the player before pressing Enter. Let the opening line finish before advancing, so you keep the setup in view.

The browser build loads about 83 MB of engine and game data. A loading screen on the first visit is expected; wait for the instructions before trying to interact.
